In the Neighborhood for Good

Millvale, PA

Meets once a month to distribute donated and purchased food items to approximately 75 neighborhood families in great need.

K-3. Meets every Monday during the school year. Older kids come too, to help with the younger ones. Time for play, homework (with some tutoring), crafts, a warm meal and a warm welcome from loving adult volunteers.

For the past five years, CLC has hosted a week-long Stay-at-Home- Mission-Work-Camp, involving youth and adults from several congregations in our Synod. CLC becomes home base for work crews that go out to homes in various nearby neighborhoods to carry out minor repairs and projects to help low-income, elderly, or disabled neighbors.

Formed in 2004 in response to extensive flooding in Millvale due to Hurricane Ivan. MAT is one of several Long Term Recovery Groups in Allegheny County that provide resources for rebuilding flood-damaged homes and lives.

Provides guidance and numerous constructive, rewarding programs for the youth of the congregation, including the annual Mission-Work-Camp and annual Homeless Event.

Meets September through June, second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM. Hannah supports many charitable organizations including Meals-on-Wheels, North Hills Community Outreach, and the homeless.
