Christ Lutheran Church in Millvale will hold two Christmas Eve Services this December 24th. Christmas Eve at 5:00 is our Family Candlelight Service with Holy Communion. Wandering in from the East will be our old friend, Obadiah, the smelly shepherd. He will offer the children an extended sermon just for them, but sure to entertain everyone! For parents with young children, there is a Nursery so that Worship can be enjoyed while children are cared for by licensed caregivers.
Christmas Eve at 8:00 is our Traditional Candlelight Service with Holy Communion. Ed Kapsha, our Director of Music and Liturgy, will lead the choir in new anthems and all of us in our favorite Christmas carols. The music will be inspiring and uplifting! The Nursery is not open at this later service.
For those wanting to attend a day earlier on the 4th Sunday of Advent, December 23rd at 9:30AM, the Nursery will be open.
The CLC Sunday School Christmas program, “Happy Birthday, Jesus,” will be presented on Sunday, December 16, immediately following the 9:30AM worship service. Be sure to invite grandparents and members of your extended families to this celebration!
